Why is yoga an integral part of my life?

My yoga journey began twenty years ago and it continues because the benefits I receive are immeasurable: yoga anchors me, sustains me, restores my vitality and helps me break down barriers that keep me from seeing, feeling and being my real, whole Self.

This is my inspiration for offering classes. I am inspired to share what continues to light my way forward.

I am grateful for the incredible teachers that I have practiced and studied with around the world.

I am grateful that yoga reminds me to look inward and gives me the resilience to show up fully today despite how hard yesterday may have been.

And, I am grateful for the supportive friendships that have blossomed from sharing a yoga class or training together.

So, what am I into aside from yoga? I enjoy watching my son play soccer, reading, knitting and taking our pup to a local trail.

Whether I’m going for a hike or mountain biking through trails in the snow, I love to be in the forest. I’m an adventurer at heart and find all kinds of movement and play freeing and fun.

My work experiences are wide-ranging and I’ve learned a ton because of it. Currently, I’m in my fourth year of a five-year program to become a Gestalt Therapist.
